CCCC 4th Harbor Institute has undertaken the research work of five subtitles of Key Technologies Research and Demonstration of Cross-sea Cluster Engineering Construction on Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge which is National Key Technology R&D program. The research title named “Key Technologies of Guaranteed 120-year Service Life for Cross-sea Cluster Engineering Construction” we took on, focuses on the construction necessities of the HONG KONG-ZHUHAI-MACAO Bridge. Through a lot of field detections, data calculations, and lab researches, it put forward the durability design guidelines for the HONG KONG-ZHUHAI-MACAO Bridge and built up 120-year endurance guaranteed systems with reliable design, guaranteed quality and scientific maintenance. These are the key supports for the bridge to achieve 120–year service time. The subject of Study on Key Technologies of Big & Long Pipe Joint Sea Storage, Floating, and Immersion brought about big & long pipe joint floating and immersion, weather window confirmation and stability control technology. The Study has put forward key construction technology for big & long pipe joint storage, long distance floating and deep-water installing in complex sea. The subject of Deep Foundation Pit Protection Technology for Offshore Sea Artificial Island has set up a calculation method of the calculation model and the stability of retaining structure considering displacement effect, soil arching effect of soil pressure, seepage coupling, tide and wave, which provides a reference for future similar projects.
